Who will be this years top baker in the Old Timers Days Baked Goods Contest? The contest usually held on Friday evening will move to Saturday, Sept. 17, 2016. Bakers can drop off their baked goods and candies at the Peebles Lions (scout) building at 175 Charlotte Avenue, Peebles, OH, between 1-4 pm. All items will be auctioned off at the main stage at 5:30 pm with Sam Bolender.
The festival theme is “Autumn Splendor” for those who are entering a best of theme category. Judging is based on flavor, texture and appearance. There are two divisions, adults 16 years and over and youth between 5-15 years. There will be one overall winner who will receive $50, a ribbon, and bragging rights for the coming year as Peebles best baker. Adult first place winners receive a ribbon and $20 in each category and second place winner receives a ribbon and $10. Youth receive a ribbon and $15 for first and $10 for second place.

Please show your support; all auction proceeds go to the Peebles Lions Club funds.
